THE WORK

As a Subcontract Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Subcontract Program Manager in strategic proposal and program execution efforts. Your responsibilities will include:
Defining and executing subcontract and supplier strategies.
Structuring formal agreements for teammates and strategic suppliers.
Ensuring program excellence through robust supply chain performance.
Developing proposal evaluation criteria, conducting bidders' conferences, analyzing, and evaluating proposals.
Negotiating and awarding subcontracts.
Maintaining and administering resulting subcontracts by coordinating additions, deletions, and modifications.
Assisting in the day-to-day management of two programs under the Next Generation Launcher Product Line.
Expanding program leverage of material across multiple programs to achieve greater leverage and lower costs.
Interfacing with central services teams (MCE, Supplier Diversity, Sourcing Compliance, and NMAC) to ensure alignment with LOB priorities.
Monitoring and managing all strategic and tactical subcontract activities, taking corrective action when necessary to meet objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
Strong subcontracts administration/organization/ management skills, P2P fluent with and ability to execute complex projects
Ability to interpret/read mechanical drawings
Working knowledge of various contracting types (Firm Fixed, Price, Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, Award Fee, T&M, etc.,.)
FAR / DFAR contracting experience
Firm understanding of Import / Export Regulations and transactional processing
Diminishing Material Solutions (DMS) / White Paper construction through source identification, award and execution
Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and technology providers
Proven problem solving and negotiation skills
Solid interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
Results oriented and ability to adapt to change
Ability to work with all levels of management
Desired Skills:
8 years min experience in Procurement or Subcontracts Administrative roles, experience in leading major Subcontracts and leading or member of Subcontract Management Teams
Technical or Business degree
Ability to work autonomously with suppliers and customers
Proven relationships across business functions to drive results
Problem-solving skills at both detail and high levels
Ability to develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) and to manage SDRL's (Subcontract Data Required Line Items)
EVMS certified and proven experience
Experience with managing proposals that require cost and pricing data and commercial item determination and reviews through EPP.
Ability to analyze proposals to verify accuracy, completeness and compliance
Experienced in Subcontracts / Purchase Order Closeout
Ability to evaluate and recommend process improvements
LM's CAM and Green Belt experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
