Service Coordinator
Job Summary: EMCOR Services Combustioneer has an immediate opening for a Service Coordinator in Lanham, Maryland.
This position is a non exempt role and is responsible for supporting service division operations reporting directly to the Service Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly support Service Manager in planning, scheduling, and dispatching Service Technicians.
Manage incoming service request calls, determine service requirements. Prioritize service calls and remotely assist in monitoring technician activities (via phone, GPS, etc.)
Provide administrative support to the Service Managers and Technicians. Schedule calls using industry standard dispatching software.
Monitor, track, and resolve incomplete Tickets
Issue purchase orders as requested by managers and technicians. Match vendor invoices to POs and submit for managers approval Process procurement card purchases and maintain accurate records for division’s cardholders.
Set up and maintain files for projects, service contracts and work orders.
Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate payroll records for the division.
Assist with preparing monthly reports and meeting materials.
Assist with on boarding new technicians.
Assist with customer bids Assist accounting department with annual report for audit requests and other compliance and research projects.
Prepare standard and ad hoc reports for management, as required.
Handle mailing, filing, scanning, data entry, and other office duties for the division. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
AA college degree or continued education preferred.
A minimum of one year’s experience in a dispatching / coordinating / administrative support role.
Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook) and ERP system experience required
Experience with dispatching software preferred.
Outstanding communication and multitasking skills as well as handling high volume of phone calls and emails required.
Previous experience with Industry Trade Services / Construction or similar industry desired.
Must have strong written and verbal communication, be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills.
Must have extreme attention to detail, superior organizational skills and multitasking ability to meet overlapping deadlines.
Must be highly motivated with ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
