About the Position: The Corporate Accountant will play an integral role within the Controllership function. The position will be a leader in close process for multiple locations and will be involved with preparation of financial statements. Duties Include: Assist with the month-end closing process including journal entry preparation for multiple locations Assist junior level plant accounting personnel with identifying proper general ledger accounts for non-routine transactions Collaborate with plant accounting and shared services to ensure customer invoices are properly issued and recorded, including intercompany sales Assist with account management for select customers Calculate and compile key performance indicators for select locations Elimination/reconciliation of intercompany activity and balances General ledger accounting including month-end reconciliations and account analysis Track capital spending Perform ad-hoc analysis Preparation of cash flows Assist in coordination of deliverables to external auditors Work with cross function leaders and provide applicable support when requested Maintain records in accordance with company policy Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required CPA preferred 2+ years of accounting experience required Large company experience in manufacturing, accounting operations or capital project management preferred Experience with General Ledger/fixed asset or ERP System such as BPCS Understanding of US GAAP Why Should You Apply?
