Assist the Finance department with complex accounting projects. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close. Prepare schedules for external financial reporting. Account for Mortgage Servicing Rights and work with third-party valuation firms. Account for Wealth Management program and deferred compensation plans. Assist in maintaining the chart of accounts. Establish new accounting processes for new products or programs. Support internal and external audits. Design and execute effective internal controls in the Finance group. Support special projects and workflow process improvements. Identify test plans and perform testing of software changes. FinTech / Banking as a Service (BaaS) Support Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for Choice BaaS relationships. Oversee Finance collaboration with FinTech/BaaS and Transaction Services team. Support Relationship Managers in resolving invoice discrepancies. Develop relationships with FinTech and BaaS teams. Experience Required Models responsible, reliable, and ethical behavior. Uses in-depth understanding of accounting principles to create efficiencies. Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing. Anticipates implications of changing circumstances and prepares accordingly. 6 years of experience in an accounting function, preferably in a banking environment. Education Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
