Financial Analyst

R.D. Offutt Company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record journal entries for multiple ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Process accounts payable invoices and generate checks, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Record cash receipts and reconcile bank statements, exercising judgment in financial analysis.
  • Assist in filing reports required by regulatory agencies, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit schedules or reports requested by management, demonstrating exceptional communication skills.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely reporting of financial information, working independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Exercise judgment in financial, operational, or transactional analysis, providing insightful recommendations to management.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with team members to support consistent, logical, and effective solutions, promoting a positive and professional working relationship.
  • Exhibit teamwork and camaraderie, engaging in constructive discussions with team members and participating in regular team meetings.
  • Demonstrate accountability and a commitment to serving the businesses we support, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance your knowledge base and skill set, staying up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Candidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
