As a Systems Analyst at CGS, you will engage in the configuration of Oracle databases within a UNIX framework. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, implementation, troubleshooting, population, maintenance, documentation, and user training related to these systems.

Additional systems environments and project specifications may necessitate a diverse array of technical proficiencies.

Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Comprehensive understanding of government IT infrastructures.
  • Familiarity with office automation networks.
  • Experience with PC and server-based databases and applications.

Qualifications:
  • This role is a senior-level technical position, often representing the highest technical authority for specific DOJ components.
  • Applicants must showcase significant, hands-on experience with the systems in use, typically requiring a minimum of five years in the field.
  • Other systems environments may require additional specialized skills.
  • A broad understanding of government IT environments, including office automation networks and PC/server-based databases and applications, is essential.
  • Experience in a litigation support context is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • The ability to lead a technical team and provide direction is crucial, as is the capability to assess attorneys' requirements and design comprehensive system solutions that meet those needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information management/technology fields.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
