This position will research and develop flat rate systems while improving standardization practices in our service department.
We have a generous retirement plan with 10% guaranteed and up to 5% discretionary provided by the company annually once eligibility is met, with no minimum required contributions out of your pocket. Responsibilities:
- Maintains existing standards by reviewing them to determine which standards need to be updated first and when to update them.
- Review weekly new machines report to identify new machines that need standard jobs built out and build required standard jobs.
- Monitor dashboard for store requests on new machines standard jobs to decide how to update the standard jobs and what the flat rates should be set at.
- Review labor flat rates.
- Maintains RBOM of all standard jobs.
- Update standards as needed based on feedback from the field.
- Monitor when issues need to be escalated to FDC for resolution.
- Build and maintain Service Letter standard jobs.
- Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A High school and/or technical school education or equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education required.
- 3-5 years of equipment or service shop operations preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and related software.
- Strong analytic skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task
