Position Overview: The Acquisitions and Dispositions Associate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, negotiating deals, and managing the sale of properties. This role requires a keen eye for property value, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the real estate market and a proactive approach to finding and closing profitable deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deal Sourcing and Acquisition:

    • Identify potential investment properties through various channels including direct mail, networking, and online platforms.
    • Conduct market research and property analysis to assess the value and potential of properties.
    • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
    • Negotiate purchase agreements and contracts to acquire properties at favorable terms.
    • Manage due diligence processes, including inspections and title reviews.
  2. Dispositions and Sales:

    • Develop and implement strategies to market and sell acquired properties.
    • Prepare property listings and marketing materials, and coordinate with real estate agents as needed.
    • Negotiate sale terms and contracts with buyers to achieve optimal sale prices.
    • Manage the sales process from contract to closing, ensuring a smooth transaction.
    • Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  3. Administrative and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of transactions, communications, and property details.
    • Prepare regular reports on acquisition and disposition activities, including performance metrics.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies.
