This position manages the purchasing department in all phases, develops, and executes plans that support the organization’s procurement needs. Requirements: 3+ years’ sourcing experience Excellent problem-solving skills Attention to Detail Effective communication with co-workers, management, customers, and vendors Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities Ensure adherence to company and vendor certification policies Experience in manufacturing of flexible packaging products preferred Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / PrintVis is a plus Strong computer skills Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the supply chain and advise management of potential risks Work with suppliers to initiate business and develop organizational partnerships Negotiate with suppliers to secure fair and advantageous terms Develop, implement, and oversee a supplier approval/review program Visit and certify strategic supply partners to ensure compliance with company objectives Continuously review and replace suppliers when required Rely on professional discretion to achieve goals Perform other related duties as assigned to contribute to the company's success Salary for this position is based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
