Position Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities within the aerospace sector, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with industry standards.

Location

This role will operate in a hybrid model, requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates procurement strategies and supply chain solutions to meet client needs.
  • Implements and tracks company strategic goals and objectives.
  • Advises on proposal evaluations and the development of negotiation tactics.
  • Clarifies procurement requirements with stakeholders and directs the supplier negotiation process.
  • Drafts and finalizes procurement agreements.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Oversees contract terminations as necessary.
  • Creates plans for organizational and operational enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:

Required: Proven experience as a buyer or procurement agent in the aerospace industry.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts.

Experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with government clients.

Ability to manage both direct and indirect costs to enhance competitiveness.

Experience leading proposal efforts and developing contract terms and conditions.

Over 3 years of experience in supplier management and procurement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

Prior experience in the aerospace sector.

Familiarity with FAR and DFAR regulations.

Experience with procurement systems such as Network Procurement or SAP.

Experience in negotiating government procurements that exceed TINA thresholds.

Education and experience typically obtained through advanced education and relevant work experience.
