The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting, with expertise in handling insurance processes and patient interactions.

Location: Winston-Salem, NC (100% onsite)

Compensation: $19-$22/hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded accurately.
  • Verify insurance information, process co-pays, and calculate deductibles. Ensure that all patient insurance-related queries are handled promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the office schedule.
  • Handle patient referrals, ensuring all necessary documentation and follow-ups are completed.
  • Maintain and organize patient records and office paperwork, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, providing information, taking messages, and directing calls as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a medical office environment is required.
  • Proficiency in handling insurance processes, including calculating deductibles and processing co-pays.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
