Hotel Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Hotel Salem. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mitigate customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage guest information and ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Handle incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings, and respond to guest inquiries regarding room rates, availability, and amenities
  • Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
  • Provide a warm welcome and check-in/check-out experience for all guests
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk or guest services role
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
