Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

Embassy Suites Winston Salem is seeking a skilled Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the guest services team to ensure efficient front desk operations
  • Respond to guest requests, problems, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Attend daily and monthly room meetings to stay informed and address any issues
  • Participate in the M.O.D. program to maintain high standards of guest service
  • Work closely with accounting to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Ensure staff greet and welcome guests in accordance with company SOPs
  • Implement company policies and house rules to maintain a positive guest experience
  • Assist in revenue and occupancy forecasting to drive business growth
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and maintain a professional working relationship with colleagues
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in guest services, with at least one year in a supervisory role
  • Outstanding management, organization, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
