Compass is seeking a Master Planner to join our Global Delivery team in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

Provide transparent and unmanaged communications, escalating risks and issues that require mitigation and/or resolution. Lead engagement and holistic view planning with the Development, Design and Delivery teams to develop the master plan for the phased design, permitting, development and construction of our data center campuses.

Build and maintain collaborative, solutions-focused partnerships with our development partners and contractors to ensure stakeholder needs are met and we achieve our goal of fastest to ready. Responsibilities include: Public works requirements such as roads, watermains, utility services, pumping stations, etc.

Complex proffered projects such as pedestrian green spaces, information centers, equestrian facilities, etc.

Participate in weekly coordination calls with internal and external partners and manage upcoming cost and schedule deliverables against master plan need-by dates.

Manage project schedules that incorporate the dependencies of public works, proffered projects, and the build out of multi-phased large campuses.

Work cross-functionally with Development, Design and Delivery to ensure our projects are sequenced and delivered in accordance using Compass Principles.

Participate in the contractor bid process using the Compass standard for bid solicitations, RFP package development, and bid proposal analysis.

What You Need to Succeed

· Excellent communicator with executives and customers. Frequent, high-quality, transparent information flow and escalation of issues is the highest priority for this role. Transparency, curiosity, and humility are essential characteristics. · Comfortable with escalation and collaboration rather than handling problems on their own. · Possesses an aptitude for continuous improvement. · This role requires extreme organization and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

· 5-8 years of construction experience with a competent understanding and experience in:

Contract management Construction drawings and specifications – all disciplines, with a heavy focus in site work and campus planning Permitting processes and coordination with local jurisdictions
