LPA is in search of a dedicated Senior Structural Design Engineer to become a vital part of our collaborative team, which includes architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and master planners.

As a key member of our structural engineering division, you will engage in a diverse array of projects ranging from office buildings, educational institutions, and recreational facilities to intricate laboratories, healthcare establishments, and performing arts venues.

Responsibilities of the Senior Structural Design Engineer:

The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with Project Architects, Designers, and Managers to steer the project design process.

Prepare documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
Conduct quality control research for products and construction techniques related to projects.
Oversee the construction administration process.
Receive mentorship from Managing Directors and Design Directors.

Requirements for the Senior Structural Design Engineer:
Proficiency in RAM, RISA, and ETABs is essential. Familiarity with Revit is encouraged.
Strong technical, code, and detailing skills for producing high-quality documentation.
A passionate commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and collaborative team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong desire to apply these skills in projects.

Ability to lead structural design initiatives with guidance from the Project Manager, along with the capability to mentor less experienced team members.


Experience Required:
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
5-12 years of experience in all phases of building design.
A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; a Structural Engineering (SE) license is preferred.
