Responsibilities Provide data analysis and research to help deliver industry-leading manpower planning, crew resource management, and workforce commitment through cost effective staffing levels and crewmember allocation. Research and complete analysis of trends, for the development of new processes to support greater efficiency for crew resources. Track and analyze crewmember absenteeism rates and incorporate historical data into staffing mode. Develop presentation and debrief materials for senior and executive level leadership. Investigate, process, and respond to all initial union contract compliance issues. Track and analyze all non-compliance issues and report to crew resources leadership on trends. Work closely with Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning, Crew Payroll, with regards to research and analysis needs. Provide analysis on beneficial changes in contractual issues to improve crewmember efficiency. Perform special projects and studies as directed by the Senior Manager, Crew Resources, Research & Analysis. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g. emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments). Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent experience required in Crew Scheduling or an Analytical role. 1-3 years' experience required. Airline knowledge preferred, but not required. Strong computer skills, including expert proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Proven ability to adapt to more sophisticated software programs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Perform additional functions which may be assigned from time to time. Excellent attention to detail and strong time management and prioritization skills. Must be able to work extra hours when necessary. Achieves Results: Handles and delivers multiple projects simultaneously. Shows persistence in overcoming obstacles. Ensures follow-through to desired results. Communicates Effectively: Explains concepts and procedures clearly and completely while maintaining attention and interest. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No travel required. Telework capacity: Hybrid.
