Crew Resource Analyst

Position Overview:
As a Crew Resource Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our manpower planning and crew resource management strategies at Spirit Airlines. Your expertise in data analysis and research will be instrumental in optimizing staffing levels and crew member allocation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of industry trends to develop innovative processes that enhance crew resource efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate crew member absenteeism rates, integrating historical data into staffing models.
- Create and present detailed reports and debrief materials for senior leadership, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Address and manage initial union contract compliance inquiries, tracking non-compliance issues and reporting trends to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning, and Crew Payroll teams to fulfill research and analysis requirements.
- Analyze contractual changes that could improve crew member efficiency and performance.
- Undertake special projects and studies as directed by the Senior Manager of Crew Resources, Research & Analysis.
- Adapt to changing responsibilities as needed, including emergencies or shifts in workload.

Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Crew Scheduling or a related analytical field is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Familiarity with the airline industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel, are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to advanced software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are crucial.
- Attention to detail and effective time management skills are required.
- Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.

Work Environment:
This position involves primarily sedentary work, with occasional walking or standing. No travel is required. The role offers a hybrid telework capacity.
