**Responsibilities:**

With effective direction and training of quality processes and procedures manage the production quality team and the sanitation team to ensure quality and food safety are maintained in all steps of the process to ensure the best quality products.

Develop and implement statistical process control of the line quality control. Be responsible for the final product quality controls and validation by developing, improving, and implementing methods and testing.

Validate and release manufacturing batch records for quality and regulatory compliance (labelling, weights) including USDA and Kosher productions.

Manage all internal inspections, calibration and verifications as per quality management system schedule and implementation of corrective action plans.

Work closely with the operation team to monitor, record, and follow up all non-conformities through Root Cause analysis.

Work with the management team to develop and implement continuous improvement plans.

Implementation of food safety plan and plant training (CCP, GMPs, Food Hygiene).

Manage and maintain plant sanitation programs, including master sanitation schedule.

Develop and monitor quality control KPIs. Manage the Food defense plan.

**Qualifications:**

BS Food Science or related.

3+ years experience in quality and food safety.

PCQI Certification required.

Knowledge of SQF or other GFSI standard required trained practitioner preferred.

Food Defense training.

Supervisory / managerial experience required

Continuous improvement training a plus.

Salary $80 - 100K, +10% Annual Bonus, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick days, paid holidays and relocation assistance.
