Revology Cars is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at the Orlando Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager plays a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality while driving efficiency and reducing waste in the operation. This position requires a strong background in manufacturing with significant experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and the leadership skills to lead a team of process engineers in achieving our process improvement goals. Experience in automotive manufacturing is not mandatory, but highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency to meet production targets. Analyze direct and indirect workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of manufacturing and other processes. Use Lean Manufacturing tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, poka-yoke, and others to drive improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of process engineers, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to implement quality control measures and ensure that all vehicles meet or exceed established quality standards.
  • Cost Management: Analyze production costs and implement cost-effective measures without compromising quality and safety. Analyze labor hour trends by activity, station, and product configuration and propose actions to improve labor utilization.
  • Risk Mitigation: Drive PFMEAs to identify risks and take appropriate corrective action.
  • New Technology Integration: Evaluate and introduce new manufacturing technologies and tools to improve productivity and product quality. Work with finance, product development and component suppliers to research and prepare new equipment analysis to ensure the company is making proper in- and out-sourcing decisions.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain team to ensure timely delivery of components and materials, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all manufacturing processes adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement innovative solutions. Work with product development to implement standardized design criteria across all product lines to ensure that new products are designed considering manufacturing efficiency and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a management position.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
PAY AND BENEFITS
  • $149-164K base salary, depending on skills and experience.
  • 10% performance bonus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Modern, air-conditioned facility located near Florida Turnpike and Consulate Drive.
  • Production processes include welding, painting, assembly, quality checks, and warehousing.
  • Safety eyewear is required, other PPE may be required as well in specific production areas.
  • Travel is limited but may include visits to suppliers to support business needs.
