Revology Cars LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee our production facility dedicated to creating Ford-licensed reproduction Mustang and Shelby GT vehicles.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is essential in refining our production methodologies, ensuring product excellence while enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing waste.

This role demands a robust background in manufacturing, with substantial experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and the leadership capabilities to guide a team of process engineers towards achieving our operational improvement objectives. While experience in automotive manufacturing is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process Enhancement:
    Identify and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, minimize waste, and enhance overall productivity to meet production goals. Assess workflows to elevate the quality and efficiency of manufacturing operations. Utilize Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as value stream mapping, 5S, and poka-yoke to drive enhancements.
  • Team Development:
    Lead and mentor a team of process engineers, providing direction and support to foster continuous improvement.
  • Quality Management:
    Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to establish and uphold quality control protocols, ensuring all vehicles meet or surpass established quality benchmarks.
  • Cost Efficiency:
    Evaluate production expenses and implement cost-effective strategies without compromising quality or safety. Review labor hour trends by activity and product configuration, proposing measures to enhance labor efficiency.
  • Risk Management:
    Conduct PFMEAs to identify potential risks and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Technology Advancement:
    Assess and integrate new manufacturing technologies and tools to boost productivity and product quality. Collaborate with finance, product development, and suppliers to analyze new equipment and make informed sourcing decisions.
  • Supplier Engagement:
    Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely procurement of components and materials while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and compliance standards in all manufacturing processes.
  • Data-Driven Insights:
    Employ data analysis tools to monitor and evaluate key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Culture of Improvement:
    Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to propose and implement innovative solutions. Collaborate with product development to standardize design criteria across all product lines, ensuring new products are designed with manufacturing efficiency and quality in mind.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
A minimum of ten years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering within a manufacturing setting.
At least two years of experience in a managerial role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Competitive base salary ranging from $149K to $164K, based on skills and experience, along with a 10% performance bonus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Our modern, air-conditioned facility is equipped for various production processes, including welding, painting, assembly, quality checks, and warehousing. Safety eyewear is mandatory, and additional personal protective equipment may be required in specific areas. While travel is limited, it may include visits to suppliers as necessary.
