Business Development Representative
Summary
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business within the construction industry. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and promoting our services to key decision-makers. Your efforts will contribute directly to the company's revenue growth and market presence.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to prepare customized proposals and quotations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients
- Provide insights and recommendations to the management team regarding market positioning, product offerings, and strategic partnerships to capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Act as a company ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and open new business channels
- Develop a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team through proactive outreach and engagement
Job Requirements

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management; within the construction industry preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), plus
