This position provides product and process support for mortgage division including restructuring of transactions and products, and the development of loan scenarios. Assesses current practices, collects information and industry trends, and assists with creation and maintaining of materials for training, job aids and procedures to support mortgage division. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues as well as alternatives for denied files to ensure Fair Lending compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Support - Determines mortgage needs through reporting and analysis, and suggests applicable strategies or solutions. Assists in creating specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation to communicate business initiatives to wider group. Provides daily support for the mortgage operations Help Line by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve standard practices. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements.
  • Risk Mitigation - Adheres to all regulations and Bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities. Mitigates risk related to personal interactions, customer transactions, and financial exposures.
  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Analytics or Procedure writing OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Analytics or Procedure writing
  • Preferred Area of Study: Finance or Business
  • Preferred Area of Experience: Sales, Underwriting or Processing
  • Skill(s): Excellent client service skills, Telephone skills
