This position offers a base salary plus commission, with potential earnings ranging from $45,000 to $80,000 annually. Our top performers often exceed the upper limits of this range. Additionally, you will receive a $500 sign-on bonus, a $500 bonus upon passing the SAFE exam, and another $500 bonus at your six-month anniversary.

As a Mortgage Loan Consultant, you will assist veterans and service members in understanding their VA loan benefits and guide them through the loan acquisition process. Often, you will be the initial point of contact for borrowers. This role serves as an entry-level opportunity within our organization, where prior mortgage experience is advantageous but not mandatory. We are eager to provide you with the necessary training for success.

Daytime Mortgage Loan Consultants typically operate during standard business hours, with occasional evening and weekend requirements.

Flexible Mortgage Loan Consultants enjoy the freedom to set their own schedules outside of regular business hours. This is a full-time role, with hours that can be arranged at your convenience, adhering to the following guidelines:

  • Available hours between 12 PM and 10 PM from Monday to Friday, and between 8 AM and 10 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Flexible Mortgage Loan Consultants must work two evenings per week until 10 PM.
  • Flexible Mortgage Loan Consultants are required to complete at least 32 weekend hours each month.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Educating borrowers on the loan process and available product/service options.
  • Conducting interviews with borrowers to gather and verify necessary information and documentation.
  • Assessing borrower credit for pre-approval or denial of loan applications.
  • Making initial contact and promptly responding to customer inquiries to collect borrower financial and credit information.
  • Processing borrower credit information through an online approval system.
  • Informing borrowers about future documentation requests, including income and asset information.
  • Actively contributing to strengthening the team and culture by assisting with additional duties as required.
  • Must be NMLS licensed or obtain licensure upon employment.
