Lennar Mortgage is seeking a highly skilled Regional Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our environmental management team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and implementing sustainable practices across our regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to divisional teams on environmental best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including divisional presidents, regional vice-presidents, and corporate management.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices to ensure our company remains compliant and sustainable.
- Travel to various locations to conduct site visits, audits, and training sessions.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce environmental liabilities and improve our company's sustainability profile.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in environmental management, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
- College degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- Certified as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) or Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ).
- Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations, including the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
