Position Overview: Quality Assurance Supervisor
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the inspection and evaluation of home construction to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, building regulations, and project specifications. This role is vital in maintaining construction excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction through a commitment to delivering defect-free homes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspection and Compliance:
    Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of homes, focusing on materials and craftsmanship. Ensure that construction aligns with approved plans, specifications, and local building codes. Identify and document any defects or compliance issues.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Work collaboratively with construction teams to address quality concerns promptly. Audit quality control inspections throughout various construction phases, from foundation to final finishes.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain thorough records of inspection results, including photographs and detailed reports. Prepare inspection summaries for communication with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Communication:
    Effectively communicate inspection outcomes and recommendations to community teams. Engage with customers and other associates to provide updates and facilitate necessary meetings.
  • Training and Education:
    Stay updated on relevant building codes and best practices. Provide guidance and training recommendations to enhance quality standards.
  • Problem Solving:
    Collaborate with project teams to devise solutions for quality-related challenges, ensuring project timelines are met.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in construction codes are preferred.
  • Experience in construction quality inspection or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Physical fitness to work in outdoor and construction environments.
  • Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
