Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Development Specialist to join our team at Freedom Mortgage. As an Account Development Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mortgage brokers to expand our servicing portfolio.
  • Manage Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing mortgage brokers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Generate Mortgage Leads: Utilize effective prospecting techniques to generate leads and convert them into mortgage business.
  • Source New Brokers: Identify and onboard new mortgage brokers to expand our network and drive business growth.
  • Develop Business Opportunities: Develop and manage all business opportunities within a defined territory to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting and processing, to ensure seamless loan processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Sales Reports: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: None required at this time, but may be required in the future.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
