Reports to: General Manager
Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of the business. They will maintain a positive atmosphere centered on guest care - both internal and external.
How this role Contributes to the Big Picture
The Sales Manager is responsible for serving guests and employees, developing themselves and their team, and maximizing the opportunities for profit. This person will lead with integrity, inspiration and empathy.
What Excellence Looks Like
Operate with Willis Core Values
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the store’s operational performance
Oversee and hold accountable the Sales team
Maintain strong relationships with Human Resources and Accounting departments
Execute the principles of the Entrepreneurial Operating System and Traction
Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and vendors
Protect the company through knowledge of, and compliance with, the law and regulations.
Provide a yearly budget for Fixed and Variable Operations
Achieve net profit objectives and CSI above national average
Understands all key operating systems
Work new and pre-owned car deals
Additional Responsibilities
Actively participate in the community by joining a board, volunteering, and participating in Willis sponsored events. Examples include but are not limited to United Way, Variety, Meals on Wheels, Rotary
Represent the company at events in the community
Qualifications
Four year college degree or work experience equivalent
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong leadership skills
Excellent attention to detail and follow through
