Job Summary:

The Sales Process Manager is responsible for the organization and systems of the sales departments. The duties will include creating and implementing sales policies and processes to support sales planning, forecasting and reporting. This role will work closely with the SVP of Sales, VP of Logistics and Customer Service and the GTM Director to create action plans that maximize profitability across all lines of business

Essential Job Functions:

  • Clean up and manage the customer chart of accounts for all lines of business
  • Develop, implement and manage the CRM system including developing the underlying sales process; will also be responsible for training the sales team on best practices, ongoing support and driving accountability with the SVP of Sales
  • Streamline and standardize sales process and workflows to ensure a smooth end-to-end sales process
  • Build and maintain sales forecast tools and processes, bringing together various sources of data
  • Analyze data to help identify potential customer opportunities and strategize sales goals
  • Lead special projects and initiatives from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans
  • Work closely with the Logistics and Customer Service team to ensure sales forecasts and demand forecasts are aligned; supporting their initiatives, as needed
  • Other projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, customer service, sales operations and/or account management
  • Project Management and/or PMO Experience
Required Qualifications:
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent communicator
  • Collaborative with the ability to work will with multiple stakeholders to achieve measurable results
  • CRM Experience
  • Deep experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ag experience, including both egg and/or fertilizer
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid - Work primarily from home but available to be on site, as needed
Travel:
  • Limited travel, as needed, less than 20%
