Start your Voyage – Apply Now VP or SVP, Portfolio Manager – Small Cap Growth Ideal Location: Portland, OR (would consider other locations based on talent availability) Get to know the Opportunity Voya Investment Management is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join its Small Cap Growth Equity investment team. The Portfolio Manager will work with and support the Lead Portfolio Manager and Head of Small Cap managing the small and mid-cap growth portfolios. The individual will support the Lead PM on a daily basis through direct interactions on portfolio construction, risk controls, analytical tools assessment, and stock level buy, sell, and weighting decisions. The Contributions You'll Make All PM’s on the Voya SCG team function dually as analysts and are responsible for daily management of the portfolio and security selection within various sectors. The PM would source and research new ideas and maintain research on current holdings via financial analysis, management meetings, and industry-level due diligence. The PM would support the Lead PM in the marketing effort with existing and prospective clients. Ideally, the analyst would have a generalist Small Cap Growth background, including specifically technology, and ability/desire to broaden to multi-sector coverage. Preferred Knowledge & Experience: BA/BS in finance, economics or similar required; MBA and/or CFA desired. At least 7-10 years of fundamental equity research experience is required, preferably buy-side experience. Knowledge of the Small and SMID space desired. A demonstrable track record of success in stock selection. Comfortable with using a quantitative screening tool to help target research. Demonstrated understanding of financial statements and models. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technology coverage history preferred. Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.
