Job Description

OCHIN is a rapidly growing national nonprofit health IT organization with two decades of experience transforming healthcare delivery to drive health equity.

The Manager of Portfolio Management is responsible for leading their portfolio of EHR Implementation Projects, including overall project success and providing leadership, coordination, and management of employees who lead at the project level within their portfolio.

They must create and maintain strong Executive-Level relationships with both member and OCHIN leaders to ensure quick issue resolution and overall project success.

The Portfolio Manager works directly with project managers, other managers/directors, and executives to make strategic decisions for each project.

This role is considered to be a senior-level practitioner, as they are responsible for managing and directing projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages Executive-Level relationships with members and OCHIN leaders
  • Provides leadership, coordination, and management of employees who lead at the project level
  • Creates and maintains strong Executive-Level relationships
  • Works directly with project managers, other managers/directors, and executives
  • Manages and directs projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, health informatics, or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of successful project management leadership
  • Experience or knowledge of healthcare and/or Epic preferred
  • PMI certification (PMP, CAPM) preferred

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint ($155,443), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position.
