The successful candidate will be technically strong and communicate well. The Land Development Project Manager manages company projects from inception through completion and directs client contact and relationships.

HILGARTWILSON has extensive experience providing services on many of the Valleys largest and most prestigious master-planned communities, retail, office, educational, healthcare, mixed-use developments, and public works projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform overall project management responsibilities; manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ensure a high level of morale, efficiency, and individual member performance for design team members
  • Provide technical guidance to design team & assure design is technically sound/efficient
  • Provide project design concepts, quality control, budget & schedule control, client coordination/satisfaction
  • Manage all related project tracking, submittals & approvals (municipality requirements), sub-consultant coordination, and all related paperwork
  • Ensure timely, complete and accurate billing for all work performed and cost incurred on assigned projects; assist with collections efforts as necessary
  • Assist with marketing
Qualifications:
  • Professional registration in Arizona is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or related field
  • 10+ years of combined college/technical school and progressive experience in civil engineering
  • Demonstrate strong technical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Possess a detailed understanding of the local municipalitys engineering requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to travel to various project sites
  • Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
