Terrascape Consulting offers Civil Engineering, Entitlement, and Survey services to a range of Clients in the land development private sector. We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager, P.E. with 8+ years of civil project management experience to join our Firm located in Phoenix, Arizona.

The ideal candidate has project management experience with a variety of project types, significant land development planning, design and permitting experience. You must be familiar with the regulatory agency submittal process and requirements for local, county, and state agencies. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining project budgets, client management, and internal resource management to fulfill established project milestones.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
  • Registered Professional in field of civil engineering required.
  • Eight or more (8+) years of project management experience in land development.
  • Thorough understanding of municipal codes and regulations.
  • Experience researching zoning, development standards, development review processes, compliance matters, regulations, and standards.
  • Ability to write reports, prepare narratives, development applications, submittal documents and response letters.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Previous working experience with AutoCAD Civil3D is required, but there will be a team of designers and drafters that will complete all final AutoCAD drawings.
  • Land development design and management experience including grading and drainage, water, sewer, and paving plans. Experience producing accurate and complete construction plans and reports.
  • Perform technical research and investigation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects).
  • Ability to write reports, prepare narratives, development applications, submittal documents and response letters.

  • Ability to lead a team of engineers through the entire scope of the project and facilitate team training.
  • Ability to collaborate with other project managers and sub-consultants effectively.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a time and navigate time constraints.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ensure accuracy of plans/reports using QA/QC standards.
  • Maintain a problem-solving attitude and the ability to convey timely and concise project status reports to Clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business development and Client management skills.
  • Ability to craft project proposals with scope and cost.
  • Commitment to project profitability and efficiency best practices.
  • Understanding of project accounting and the ability to manage budget and correct invoicing.
