Marketing matters and we use it across all of our brands to share why "Life's Better in a T-shirt." We're looking for a goal-driven, marketing-minded team member who is ready to help us take our brands to the next level & help us continue to WOW Our Customers through the digital content we're able to develop and deliver.

This position is for a hands-on digital guru providing design, promotional content, website management, and social media support for support various marketing initiatives for Lakeshirts and its brand lines. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS | Create + Collaborate + Capture + Edit + Help Sell Stuff

Email Marketing and Management

  • Leverage our ESPs (MailChimp and Klaviyo) to conduct weekly email campaigns across various brands. Leverage email best practices to drive improvements in engagement and performance.
  • Work with Marketing Manager and other company leadership and stakeholders to develop and maintain an email calendar.
  • Monitor email performance metrics and optimize campaigns for open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Website Marketing and Management
  • Actively manage and optimize Aksels.com and Lakegirl.com (Shopify platform) to ensure a seamless user experience and drive conversions.
  • Prepare company website content for our branded sites (WordPress platform). Work with Marketing Manager and other company leadership and stakeholders to develop and maintain a website content calendar.
  • Employ SEO best practices in both content and site architecture, and develop tactics to drive improvements in natural search rankings and traffic.
Other Digital Marketing
  • Seek expanded digital communication avenues for the company, especially on commerce channels (e.g. paid search, affiliate marketing, paid social, influencer marketing, etc.)
  • Ensure effective, branded, marketing communications digitally and beyond. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
    • Websites
    • Digital Ads
    • Social Media
Other Responsibilities
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing team members and other departments, utilizing company resources to implement brand and marketing strategies
  • Execute standardization of internal/external look and feel (logos, fonts, hangtags, etc.) to guide consistency throughout all divisions, marketing and communications
QUALIFICATIONS | Highly Creative + Keen Eye for Detail + Passionate about all things Digital
  • 3+ years' experience in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Web Development with strong understanding of digital marketing best practices
  • Experience with Shopify ecommerce platform, while not required, is a definite plus. The same applies to MailChimp and/or Klaviyo email marketing platforms.
  • Adobe Suite skills, while not required, are a definite plus
  • Intellectually curious - constantly seeking ways to make Continuous Improvements (this is one of our Core Values) in both their work and their skill set
  • Microsoft Office experience, as well as ability to work on either Mac or PC
  • Experience in social media marketing is a bonus
  • Understands and appreciates our unique culture, and is committed to maintaining it
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ). Reads the room, understands the cues, and is a courteous and thoughtful team member
  • A student of the game - understands what makes good digital creative, and strives to optimize performance
  • Attention to detail and deadlines is crucial
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work well independently and run with creative ideas (#meritocracy)
  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to take direction from others
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly proactive in helping to ensure reps/team members have appropriate sales tools
  • Ability to travel for photo or video filming
  • Go with the flow mentality; able to switch tasks at the tug of a t-shirt
  • Must love dogs (we kinda like them and we hope you do, too)
