Our client, a well-established local CPA firm that is looking for a CPA to be a critical and part of their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with transactional consulting, tax research, and compliance. The CPA will be responsible for preparing tax projections and consulting on tax matters, reviewing business and personal income tax returns, training staff, and researching tax issues. This a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in Vancouver, Washington.

Responsibilities: Work in all areas of income tax, not just a select tax specialty Perform transactional consulting, tax research, and compliance Responsible for preparing tax projections and consulting on tax matters, reviewing business and personal income tax returns and researching tax issues Oversee an existing book of clients and be the primary firm contact for them Work with a diverse client base and work directly with clients

Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree required, MST or MBA is a plus 3+ years of experience preparing tax returns required CPA Designation required Strong background in reviewing and preparing individual and/or business returns is required Experience with Lacerte and QuickBooks a plus Experienced in tax research Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-starter and team player Comfortable interacting with clients Work sponsorship not available at this time.
