Our client, a reputable local accounting firm, is seeking a Certified Public Accountant to play a vital role within their organization.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in transactional advisory, tax analysis, and regulatory compliance.

The CPA will be tasked with developing tax forecasts and providing guidance on tax-related issues, evaluating both corporate and individual income tax returns, mentoring junior staff, and investigating tax matters.

This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity with our client.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage in all facets of income taxation, rather than focusing on a specific tax niche
Conduct transactional advisory, tax analysis, and compliance work
Accountable for creating tax forecasts and advising on tax-related issues, assessing business and personal income tax returns, and exploring tax matters
Manage an established portfolio of clients and serve as the primary point of contact for them
Collaborate with a varied client base and interact directly with clients

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is mandatory; MST or MBA is advantageous
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax return preparation is essential
CPA certification is required
Strong experience in reviewing and preparing individual and/or business tax returns is necessary
Familiarity with Lacerte and QuickBooks is a plus
Proficient in tax research
Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and a team-oriented individual
Comfortable engaging with clients
