Soccer Holdings, LLC., is the parent company of professional soccer clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL). Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the nearby Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. Louisville City launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018. Racing Louisville FC joined the NWSL as an expansion member in 2021, bringing top-tier professional sports back to Kentucky for the first time in nearly 50 years.
POSITION OVERVIEW:The Partnership Activation Coordinator will be responsible for the successful fulfillment and execution of sponsorship assets, ticket-related programs, and community initiatives.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position working evenings and weekends during Louisville City FC & Racing Louisville FC home matches and stadium events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for supporting the workflows, processes, and execution of partnership proposals, fulfillment/activation, recaps, and renewals.
  • Cultivate dynamic working relationships with current and prospective sponsors, group ticket buyers, and community partners.
  • Participate in discussions with internal and external stakeholders and vendors throughout the proposal process to ensure seamless activation can be achieved.
  • Assist staff with the creation of partnership proposals, mid-year check-ins, and post-season recaps including proof of performance and other KPIs.
  • Be day-to-day contact for several current corporate partners and club stakeholders for deliverable communications.
  • Lead market research initiatives to enhance partnership and fan development.
  • Assist department members throughout the sales cycle and with ad-hoc projects.
  • Conduct cold calls and attend networking events to set meetings with new prospects.
  • Create compelling sales presentations to senior-level decision makers incorporating a clear understanding of the prospective partner's marketing and business objectives.
  • Cultivate new and existing partner relationships to achieve personal and department sales goals.
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities and report accurately and on time.
  • Track sales and sponsorship inventory throughout the season, maintaining a detailed list of contacts and detailed deadlines for deliverables.
  • Create touch-point campaigns each season to ensure that a mutually beneficial partnership exists.
  • Coordinate and represent the club as a community ambassador at assigned events.
  • Conduct business during non-traditional hours, taking advantage of game nights and events to interact with clients, prospects, Season Ticket Members, group leaders, and single-game ticket buyers.
  • Coordinate group ticket outings, on-field experiences, and other on-site activations throughout the season(s)
  • Contribute creative promotions to further develop the fan base.
  • Create sales collateral and marketing graphics for partners, if needed.
  • Assist with marketing and community projects, as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently across all areas of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Management required.
  • Sports industry & partnership activation experience and working knowledge of soccer preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including game days and nights as needed.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to listen and learn.
  • Must be able to lift more than 25 pounds.
  • Creative and strategic thinker.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Photoshop preferred.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check.
  • Must be legally authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the US.


Due to the nature of the industry, candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays during Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC home games and special events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to walk significant distances, including up and down stairs, as required throughout the venue, as well as stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks.

Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e., heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).
