Job Description

Reporting to the Access Control Strategic Account Manager, the Director of Sales, Access Control - Strategic Accounts works alongside the VS&A Strategic Account team to assist with access control selling initiatives with the strategic accounts in the territory. This Specialist proactively manages partner relationships with defined strategic accounts and deploys sales actions and strategies in order to grow business and meet territory revenue goals while also becoming the internal ‘go-to’ expert in the access control marketplace

Responsibilities:

Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders within accounts assigned through the strategic account channel related to MSI’s access control portfolio Create, maintain, and execute business plans for assigned accounts and strategic alliances, in relation to strategic accounts Develop and maintain relationships at the Executive level with all assigned accounts. Oversee and manage the sale of Avigilon and MSI access control products and services within the assigned accounts. Assist in training strategic account executives in our access control portfolio and how to properly quote our products. Provide product and sales training to assigned accounts to help them understand our products including how and when they should be used according to their specific application. Feedback end user customer requirements to engineering and operations departments to help implement product improvements and new product releases. Create a positive work environment and utilize team building skills with other team members and direct reports.

Qualifications:

5+ years of access control sales experience Previous experience with Convergint, Securitas, Mobile Communications of America, Everon accounts is a plus Experience working with channel strategies and initiatives Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time. Travel is throughout North America.

Compensation

This role will carry a base pay range of $75,000 to $85,000 This role will be eligible to also receive commission payouts based on sales performance
