The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently looking for a HR Operations Coordinator to join our growing HR division. In this role, you will provide administrative support for HR Operations including coordination of pre-hire and onboarding activities including front line employee support for HR Operations functions (including Benefits, HR Systems and Employee Experience). You will serve as the gatekeeper for HR responsible for answering HR Operations questions from all
employees. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

  • Embody McKinstry's People First philosophy in every interaction with employees.
  • Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities.
  • Manage HR mailbox and respond to a range of frontline HR inquiries.
  • Accurately maintains employee records in HR systems.
  • Assists with process documentation and workflow improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with employees in a way that gets to the core problem to be solved.
  • Positive feedback from newly onboarded employees.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and is an advocate for change.
  • Maintains employee records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated understanding of process sufficient to allow for flexibility within the process.
  • Observed demonstration of the proper amount of urgency and empathy while working
    with candidates and employees through their onboarding experience.
  • Observed demonstration of the use of good judgment in situations where there is not a
    clear black and white answer.

The pay range for this position is $23.15-$36.29 per hour; however, base pay offered my vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
