Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization. Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues. Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Investigates workers compensation accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier. Coordinates safety committee meetings and assists with other safety related activities/requirements. Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services. Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Qualifications: Five (5) + years of work experience with Human Resources or related (e.g., talent acquisition, learning, talent management, performance management) OR Three (3) + years of work experience with Human Resources or related with bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Experienced and positive track record for recruiting new employees. This includes knowledge of how to use social media for recruiting purposes along with other job search engines. Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office along with effective communication and project management skills. Knowledgeable of EEO law and general HR concepts Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong interpersonal and communication skills Able to multitask and function in an independent work environment. Creativity Detail-oriented Conflict Resolution Training and experience Preferred Qualifications : · 10 + years HR management in a place or organization with larger than 200 employees. · French, Creole, Spanish, and English Speaking Who are we?
