Regional Sales Manager: Controls

As Regional Sales Manager , you are commercially responsible for Prodrives portfolio of Controls and Connectivity solutions in the North America region. You identify and seize opportunities, being the commercial expert and first contact for our controls & connectivity propositions in the US. You drive lead generation together with our marketing team, as well as cooperate with the global sales manager, engineering teams, and program management to create proposals and close opportunities. You are the business case owner for each opportunity and can engage in basic technical discussions with the customer. You build and maintain relations, visit and participate in relevant fairs and exhibitions, assess market opportunities, and collect market information. You will work closely with the program team to help understand the local market requirements and customers needs and determine the sales strategy and focus within your territory. We are a leading supplier in a wide range of industries with industrial controllers, I/O modules, panel PCs, and telematics units. Among many other applications, our units control ship engines, industrial compressors, agricultural robots, as well as provide connectivity for mobile assets such as forklifts. We tailor our solutions to the needs of our customers, working from standardized building blocks to get our solutions to the market quickly while guaranteeing a mature product. We bring maximum value by optimizing the products to customer requirements. Some of the main responsibilities for this role include: Selling our Controls & Connectivity products and solutions to US-based customers Creating and finding opportunities while working with the engineering team to perfect offers and manage customers & their expectations Conducting market intelligence and research to assist with guiding the direction of our companys strategic decisions moving forward Identifying new business opportunities Proactively engaging with customers Guiding the sales from lead stage to project stage by working closely with internal programs Approaching customers and executing your sales strategy Working closely with the Global Sales Manager and Product Line Manager to coordinate sales activities and engage with customers Aligning customers and stakeholders through trade shows, social media, etc. Achieving sales targets while focusing on quality over quantity Understanding customer needs & effectively providing customer solutions with our products and services The Prodrive Controls & Connectivity program offers you: An opportunity to join an ambitious team in a fast-growing company The chance to autonomously lead complex innovation sales, initiate new business and learn & develop much faster than in traditional companies Daily cooperation with world-class experts in their field Opportunity to participate in trainings A performance-based reward system #J-18808-Ljbffr
