Job Description

Admitting Representative at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Part-Time/Day Shift working Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.

The Patient Relations Representative (PRR) is the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and in addressing patient safety issues that arise with acutely ill psychiatric patients.

Required Qualifications:
  • In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) background check is required for this position upon hire.
  • 1 year customer service experience, or
  • Successful completion of a Providence internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Some college.
  • 1 year of Medical office or healthcare experience.
  • Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems.
  • Medical terminology experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
