We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to work in the front office at our busy clinic located at Providence St. Vincent in SW Portland.You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with strong attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and the ability to multitask in this fast-paced, team environment.Primary duties include welcoming and greeting patients, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling new and existing patient appointments, scanning, updating records, and other duties as assigned.Workdays will be Monday to Friday (40 hours).Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience in a specialty clinicPrior EMR experience preferred; EPIC experience a plusExcellent customer service skillsExcellent attendance and work ethicPositive attitude and desire to be a team playerAbility to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providersAdditional Benefits: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + 8 paid holidaysGenerous 401(k) retirement planFlexible Spending Account Robust Wellness ProgramsPet Insurance70% of Tri-Met pass coveredLots of discounts to local stores and activitiesThis description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements.
