Lead Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Spurwink Services. This role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based training and supervision to individuals with developmental and/or emotional disabilities.
About the RoleThis position will provide leadership and support to our team of Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Professionals in our day treatment and milieu programs. You will be responsible for conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, and providing supervision and training to staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive FBAs to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
- Provide ongoing supervision and coaching to RBTs and BHTs to ensure high-quality services
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by funding sources and regulatory agencies
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental and/or emotional disabilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- An estimated salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
