Purpose
The purpose of the Claims Coordinator is to resolve the claims involving Customer Returns, Inventory Discrepancies, Carrier Claims, Supplier Claims, and Sales Order Adjustments
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below
.
Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority)
Ensure efficient and accurate claims transactions while maintaining a balanced workload.
Develop relations with the various departments for continued communication and support to resolve claims in a timely manner.
Participate in positive, productive conversations when disputes arise within the department and provided an analysis of the situation to the Supervisor.
To respond to questions/concerns to meet business needs.
To document and maintain systems and procedures.
Suggest claims processing workflow improvements with approval from the Supervisor.
To document and maintain systems and procedures.
Participate in implementations of new ERP systems, upgrades, and new acquisitions
Participate in required projects and ability produce ad-hoc reports as requested.
Training for new and existing team members
All other duties as assigned

To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. The requirements listed below are representative of observable behaviors and essential knowledge, skill, and abilities required of a successful incumbent within our culture.
Skills with Microsoft Office programs including advanced Excel with the aptitude to quickly learn and understand additional applications.
Detail-oriented while maintaining a high level of organization and prioritization.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task, balance workload and prioritize.
Innate sense of urgency that provides proactive and consistent work.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience considered in lieu of degree
Experience:
Minimum of 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience required.
1 year of experience within any Ravago America’s Channel preferred
Language:
Proficiency in English required
Bi-Lingual – Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
