As a vital part of our client's claims department, you will leverage your expertise in general liability to thoroughly investigate, assess, and resolve assigned claims, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and processing of complex commercial general liability claims by gathering pertinent information to evaluate claim exposure.
  • Develop and implement strategic action plans to manage claims efficiently and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Evaluate liability and resolve claims within the established parameters.
  • Negotiate settlements for claims within your designated authority level.
  • Calculate and assign appropriate reserves for claims, monitoring their adequacy throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Facilitate timely payment of benefits due, approving and processing claim payments and adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare necessary state filings in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee the litigation process, ensuring claims are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management as needed.
  • Utilize effective cost containment strategies, including strategic partnerships, to minimize overall claims costs for clients.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding claim activities with involved parties and clients, fostering professional relationships.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing commercial auto/general liability claims as a claims adjuster.
  • Prior experience with Florida and/or Texas commercial auto/general liability claims is preferred.
  • Must possess an active Florida and/or Texas adjuster license.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
