- Liability Assessment: Determine liability and resolve claims within the established evaluation framework.
- Negotiation: Engage in settlement negotiations for claims up to your designated authority level.
- Reserve Management: Calculate and assign appropriate reserves for claims, monitoring their adequacy throughout the claim's lifecycle.
- Benefit Calculation: Calculate and disburse benefits due, ensuring timely claim payments and adjustments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare necessary state filings in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Litigation Management: Oversee the litigation process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective claims resolution.
- Vendor Coordination: Facilitate vendor referrals for additional investigations or litigation management as needed.
- Cost Containment: Employ strategic vendor partnerships and cost containment techniques to minimize overall claims expenses.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear communication regarding claim activities with all parties involved, fostering professional relationships.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years handling commercial auto/general liability claims as a claims adjuster is required.
Licensing: An active Florida and/or Texas adjuster license is mandatory.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
