Job Description:
The Private Bank Ops Specialist supports the on-boarding activities for the Citizens Private Bank, emphasizing operational excellence and superior service. This role contributes to and champions process improvement ideas, fostering a culture of continuous refinement and enhanced client experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the commercial deposit account opening process and account maintenance for the Private Bank, including blocked and controlled control accounts.
- Exceed customer expectations by doing the right thing and working collaboratively.
- Respond to internal/external customer inquiries within 24 hours. Escalate issues to management within 24 hours or raise them at daily huddles.
- Suggest and drive customer experience improvement opportunities to completion.
- Apply and enforce risk mitigation controls.
- Escalate any exceptions to leadership and other concerned parties.
- Produce high-quality output and complete quality management duties as assigned.
- Establish requested accounts in the core system.
- Solve problems of varying complexity.
- Execute additional tasks as required.
- 5+ years of relevant banking experience with an operations or customer service team.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Implementations, Client Services, TS Sales, and RMs.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet critical SLAs.
- Experience implementing change and process improvements.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft applications, including advanced Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand technical aspects of product/service, both from a functionality perspective and from an operations/setup perspective, and be able to articulate it to a less technical audience (Client and Sales).
