We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Specialist to join our team at Chubb. As a key member of our agricultural business division, you will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing of our crop insurance products, as well as providing expertise in risk management and underwriting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the marketing and sales of crop insurance products to agents and customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with agents and customers to promote our products and services
  • Provide expertise in risk management and underwriting to support the sales and marketing efforts
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and issues
  • Monitor and report on quality control audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and contract qualified independent adjusters to provide loss adjustments to policyholders
  • Gain experience in loss adjustment procedures applicable to crops in assigned division
  • Attend industry-sponsored seminars and events to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Agricultural Business or related field required
  • 1-3 years of experience in crop insurance or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural industry, including crops produced in assigned territory
  • Ability to recruit and train agents
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to use company terminology, procedures, and systems
  • Ability to perform basic and complex mathematical calculations
  • Ability to drive a vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license
