Responsibilities:
Develop communications and reporting networks for data gathering, review, analysis and presentation of recommendations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Communicate schedule status & recommendations to the project teams to maintain the projects within approved budgets and cash flow constraints.
Work with project teams to develop and maintain project work breakdown structures according to the Company & Project Controls standards.
Review and maintain project performance measurement systems SAP (and Primavera P6) and reports for contractor progress.
Ensure both the Company and contractors adhere to project control procedures and reporting requirements.
Support Project Controls Supervisor with monthly portfolio and project status reporting.
Interface with various departments to gather information, communicate issues, and resolve problems.
Prepares and keeps current master program and project plans as well as sub project plans for monitoring and tracking.
Provides information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule.
Identifies and records the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled. Evaluate actual engineering progress and provide regular schedule updates.
Interfaces with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems.
Contributes to the development of working schedules for Estimating, prior to execution date, which sufficiently illustrates the sequence of work activities and project timeframe.
Prepares and issues preliminary phased schedules.
Incorporates resource loading data into schedules as required.
Consults the appropriate project team members and the Company's estimating procedures as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work.
Assists Project Managers in creating short-term schedules, monitor such schedules to determine impact on master schedule, and help in formulating actions to correct scheduling problems.
Develop & maintain regular manpower estimates/histograms for current, upcoming, and future work for short term and long-term forecasting manpower needs.
Perform EVM analysis on projects in engineering phase
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or an equivalent field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Advanced Excel Experience) and experience with SAP. Planning and Scheduling software Primavera P6 is strongly preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in executing, contracting, planning and scheduling projects work required.
