We're looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful execution of all assigned phases of the turnaround management process for planned yearly turnarounds. The Turnaround Project Manager will be expected to:


* Act as primary point of contact between Construction / Project Team, Contractors, Operations, and Maintenance during turnarounds and shutdowns.

* Assist in the development of an accurate turnaround budget, schedule, and organization which is in line with the Business Unit's objectives.

* Lead efforts with technical procurement to develop and implement an appropriate turnaround contracting and material procurement to support the logistics plan.

* Coordinate process to ensure capital project deliverables are on track for timely integration into the planning and scheduling activities. Work with technical to develop a recovery plan if deliverables are not being met.

* Ensure safety policies and procedures are properly integrated into the turnaround planning and adhered to during turnaround execution. Is proactive in addressing safety issues and situations.

* Coordinate turnaround logistics plan development and execution with Operations, Maintenance, and Site Contractor organizations.

* Lead the turnaround work scope challenge process to ensure all work being executed inside the turnaround window is consistent with the turnaround objectives.

* Assist in establishing, tracking and reporting on turnaround performance KPI's.

* Help to coordinate day-to-day work during the turnaround execution phase.

* Assist in capturing turnaround 'Lessons Learned' and fully assess the turnaround after completion.


BACKGROUND:


The ideal Project Manager will have:


* Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Project, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

* In lieu of a bachelor's degree, minimum of 10 years of supervisory, logistics/facility coordination, planning and scheduling, or project management experience in a preventative/predictive reliability maintenance role, or related maintenance leadership position in a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment.

* 2+ years of Maintenance Engineering experience with hands on support of turnaround operations.

* 6 years of experience in supervising shutdowns and general business operations in the Oil & Gas industry, Construction and alternative heavy industries.

* In-depth knowledge of maintenance work execution for all types of crafts typically used during turnarounds.

* Strong financial skills, people skills, computer skills and demonstrates knowledge of local and state regulations.

* Competent experience in all Microsoft Office programs.

* Experience using various maintenance planning and scheduling software.

Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, such as plot plans, piping isometrics, and P&IDs.

* In-depth knowledge of process knowledge of process equipment, such as pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and other related equipment.

* Experience with planning and estimating tools for maintenance turnarounds and capital projects.

* Proven experience as an industrial safety leader.

  • * The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in a team environment via reports, verbally, and in small/large group settings.
